What are Edison’s hours of operation?
Edison’s drive-up hours of operations are Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The lobby and business office are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Wednesdays the credit union lobby and business office opens at 10 a.m. to allow for staff training.

Does Edison have a notary on staff?
Edison has notaries on staff daily. This service is free to Edison members and two dollars for non-members. If you need a notary, please visit Edison during business hours and bring with you the unsigned document to notarize and photo identification.

What is the difference between an ATM and a debit card?
Using your debit MasterCard® means you have access to your money at ATMs and can make point-of-sale purchases worldwide. Using your debit MasterCard means that funds are drafted directly from your checking account.

An ATM card is not as widely used for point-of-sale purchases, and is typically associated with a savings account, rather than a checking account.

Is there a fee for owning a debit card?
There is no fee for owning an Edison Credit Union debit MasterCard®. In addition, ATM transactions made at Edison are always free, and surcharge-free ATMs can be found by clicking either of the links on Edison’s home page EdisonCU.com.

What is the balance requirement for a checking account?
There is no minimum balance for Edison Credit Union checking accounts. There is a $50 minimum savings account balance for all members.

Is there a penalty for paying off a loan early?
No. Edison does not charge any fees or penalties for paying off a loan early or making loan payments ahead of schedule.

Does Edison count loose coin?
Edison is happy to count your loose coin Monday through Thursday during business hours. It is much easier to count your coin when it is not wrapped.

Why is my online account blocked?
You may have tried to access your account on too many occasions with an incorrect user ID or password. Your password can be reset by contact an Edison member service representative at 816-231-3380.

What is my online account password?
The password associated with your online account is set by an Edison member service representative, and can be changed by individual users as prompted on your first login. Once the password is changed, Edison will not know your password. If you forget your password, or are blocked for entering incorrect information at the login up to three times, Edison will be happy to reset your password. Just give us a call at 816-231-3380.

I received a suspicious e-mail asking for my account information. What do I do?
Edison Credit Union will never ask you for your account information by e-mail. If you receive an e-mail asking for account information of any kind, report it to an Edison Credit Union staff member immediately. To send us notification of this type of activity, you can also containing information on the suspicious communication.

Do you have any other locations?
Edison Credit Union has one location at 4200 East Front Street in Kansas City, Missouri. We are open for account access through the Internet and touch-tone phone, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

How do I apply for a loan?
You can apply for a loan through our Internet form by clicking here; call the credit union at 816-231-3380, for a loan application to be mailed to you; or visit the credit union to complete the loan process in person.How do I access my bill-pay?
To access Edison’s free electronic bill-pay system, simply log in to your online account and click the “pay bills” button.

How can I make more money on my investments?
Edison member service representatives are pleased to make suggestions to help you earn and save more money on your share and money market accounts. Just ask about current rates on savings, money markets and share certificates, or click here for current savings rates.

How much money can I put into an IRA?
If you are 50 or older, you can put as much as $5,000 a year into an IRA. For more information on IRAs available at Edison, click here now .

How do I check my account balance?
You can check your account balance many ways. By calling a member services representative, using Edison’s account access by phone option, through the Internet and at any ATM. To sign up for online account access, complete the Home Financial Services® registration form now.

For account access using the automated Touch-Tone Teller system, call 816-231-4769. If you do not know your PIN, an Edison Credit Union member service representative will be happy to share that information with you when you call 816-231-3380.
